The Nalls Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose primary goal is to create an oasis for at-risk young women and men that will facilitate their transition into full emancipation, becoming fully functioning and contributing members of society. These young women and men are at risk of being lost into the criminal justice system due to threats posed by exposure to environments where molestation, substance abuse, human trafficking, physical and emotional abuse are prominent.
Fossestina Dollison founded Nalls Foundation in 2003 after her grandmother, Mary Nalls, who always provided a loving and nurturing home for neighborhood children. Fossestina has a Master’s Degree from Mississippi Valley State University. She is also the Founder of Nalls Development Center. The Nalls Foundation goals are to empower the underserved community by fostering principals of equal opportunities for all.
